An academic board will be founded for the course, which will select 40 participants, 15 from Germany and 25 from China for the practical course. The students who have certain experience in two-photon imaging will be provided the opportunity of practical operations, while the rest will watch the experiments via synchronized video. The application information can be found from brochure and website made by the host lab. The qualifications are as follows:

1.The applicants shall be elite Doctor candidates and post-doctors in neuroscience and bioimaging field in Germany and China.

2.Applicants should submit: (to E-mail: lilybrc@aliyun.com , and Submission deadline: Jul. 31, 2014)
 1) curriculum vitae;
 2) letter of recommendation;
 3) publications or an abstract of current research work;
 4) a brief statement of interest, explaining the importance of the course to the applicant.

3.Selection of the participants will be on the basis of research background, scientific qualifications and interest.

4.Moreover, the practical course board will determine the assignment of students in groups to participate in or watch experiments according to their knowledge and practical skills about two-photon imaging or their future research plans for using the two-photon imaging techniques.

5.Besides the selected 40 students, those that are interested in the course can voluntarily attend the lectures, while will not take part in lab rotations; other costs shall be covered by themselves.
